Voices of Arrow Rock: A Stage for Underrepresented Voices. Saturday, November 16, 2024. 10am-3pm in Arrow Rock. This unique experience will employ storytelling and personal narrative to explore issues of racial injustice. The session will include viewing and discussing episode five of the readers theatre series titled Ignore the Shadow as well as a working lunch and a tour of historic sites in Arrow Rock. The Disciples of Greater Kansas City invite all to their Racial Justice Summit on November 2, 2024 at Independence Blvd. Christian Church. Rev. Dr. Traci Blackmon is the guest speaker. This event qualifies as a renewal session for clergy’s required anti-racism training. $15. Learn more and register>
The UCC Southern New England Conference is also offering a 4-hour session on Enacting Racial Justice in Ministry on December 4, 2024 from 7:30-11:30 Central via Zoom. $133.
The Disciples Florida Region will be offering an online class, which requires additional reading prior to the session, on February 10, 2025 from 9:00am to 2:00pm via Zoom. $25. Learn more>

Any other alternatives to what the Mid-America Region lists for Boundaries Training (BT) and Anti-Racism/Pro-Reconciliation (ARPR) Training must receive advance approval for guarantee that the credits will be honored based on Regional training expectations.
