Jim Michel is on the road again in Mid-America, bringing engineering expertise and the resources of Disciples Church Extension Fund (DCEF) to Disciples congregations.  Jim, former owner of a construction engineering firm in Joplin now serves as DCEF Building and Capital Services Advisor.  He helps Disciples to make assessments of their buildings and to help imagine new mission purposes for aging structures.  He will be making presentations at the NW Area Board meeting in Plattsburg on April 21 and at the First Christian Church in Mexico on April 22.  To reach Jim, send an email to: jmichel@disciplescef.org or call 317-635-6500 Ext. 2535.

Also on the agenda will be the dissolution of the Area governance structures and their consolidation into one Regional Board (with deployed pastoral staff in current locations), which now seems likely to occur in 2016.  At this meeting there will be time for your questions about what this means and how we partner in fresh ways to serve and support congregations, missions and ministries important to you.
