Sunday May 3 at 9 AM, we will be celebrating John Wrench's ministry
to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). John will be presented the
Honored Minister Pin given to ministers in recognition of fifty years in
ministry. 
What a wonderful way to recognize and celebrate John's many years of
faithful service to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) as well as
his year of successful ministry with us! He has served literally "coast to
coast," from New York City to California. He has completed three interim
ministries in Mid-America.
John was ordained in 1964 in his home church in Waco, TX, having
graduated from TCU in 1960 and earning his Master of Divinity degree at
Brite Seminary in 1964. In 1995 he earned the Doctor of Ministry degree at
Brite.
Following the service there will be opportunity to congratulate John
and enjoy refreshments in the Narthex.
John's interim ministry at Community Christian Church will conclude on May 10.
