National Council of Churches Christian Unity Gathering

The 2015 Christian Unity Gathering is quickly approaching. They have a great line up of sessions and presenters, including 2011 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Leymah Gbowee to help frame discussion for their work. They will be exploring NCC's second priority, Interfaith Relations with a Focus on Peace, as well as continuing the good work already begun to respond to the Mass Incarceration crisis. For more details on the program click here.

In addition to the important face to face meetings, NCC is co-sponsoring a service of remembrance for the victims of the Armenian Genocide at Washington National Cathedral. Elected officials and foreign dignitaries will be in attendance at what will be a very important event to recomimit ourselves to working to end genocide.

Time is running out to register as the registration fee will increase to $350 after April 14 and there will be no hotel rooms available at the special reduced rate.
