Liberation Christian Church (DOC) started in April of 2009. The SEGA Disciples and Mid-America prayerfully and financially support, nurture, and make room for this new congregation to grow and learn. In that time the church has become a hub of religious creativity, faith thinking, and social action. On January 10, 2016, 3PM at First Presbyterian Church(7200 Delmar Ave, 63130) Liberation will continue in the tradition of liberating lives and liberating communities by adopting a model of co-pastoring and adding the distinguished scholar and writer Dr. Jeffrey McCune. We invite all churches and communities that wish us well to join in this symbolic service of two leaders partnering with the church and the wider community to call forth a new generation of disciples of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We are inviting Disciples choirs to join our new Director of Music (DOM) to form a Disciples Mass Choir to provide musical selections during the service. Trevon Griffith tregmusic@gmail.com is our new DOM and is a University of California Berkeley Music graduate and we are excited to have him.  Rehearsals are scheduled for:
