Persons in Ministry Retreat - Many Paths, One Mountain

  • Inn at Grand Glaize 5142 Osage Beach Parkway Osage Beach, MO, 65065 United States (map)

This event is for persons who serve as ministry leaders within their congregations.

The keynote speaker will be Brian Carwana, Director of Encounter World Religions Centre in Toronto.

The World's Religions: Primary Perspectives and a Closer Look - Our journey will begin with an overview that groups religions into three families with similar traits and vastly different ways of approaching the central questions of faith. Then we will spend time exploring Islam, Daoism and Hinduism in more detail. How can we better understand our neighbors? How can really seeing them help us better understand ourselves and our own faith?

Register by September 8th for discount. Find more information on the brochure and on the Missouri Mid-South UCC Conference website.

Through our Rickman Legacy Fund that encourages Clergy Development, 100% reimbursement of the early bird registration cost for first time attendees ($125) will be given, 50% for second timers, and 25% for third timers.
