Men, some of us are fathers; all of us are sons. Some of us had positive male mentors to guide our life; many of us did not. Mid-America Men, in partnership with Illuman of Missouri and Southern Illinois, will gather the Saturday before Father's Day, June 16 at Rockhaven Ecozoic Center in House Springs, MO from 10-3 to honor all positive male role models, fathers, and father figures. All Disciples Men are welcome.

The session will begin with "check-ins" and then we will view film clips of perhaps the best father-son relationship dynamics on television today. We will also create space for wandering in nature, conversation and ritual that acknowledge how for many men, father hunger and father wounds still persist and how our reaching and mentoring boys, young men, and each other can begin to repair the breach.
