Regretfully, we are going to have to cancel this event for now. The uncertainties created by COVID-19 called into question whether enough folks would register for an event happening this summer and whether it would be safe to hold the event once the end of August arrived. 

We have been in contact with Dr. Winner. She remains enthusiastic about coming to Mid-Missouri as soon as possible. Our hope is we might reschedule the event for next spring.

Lauren Winner, the acclaimed Christian writer, will be leading a one day clergy retreat at First Christian Church in Jefferson City on August 29th, 2020. The event is intentionally designed to be a space of renewal and inspiration for pastors. Registrations are intentionally capped at 100 to ensure all attendees will get the chance to ask questions of and share in conversation with Dr. Winner. If your job involves forming others in the Christian life, this is an event you won't want to miss!
