Join Disciples Men across the Region on Saturday, August 28 at the Childs Retreat Center (formerly Rockhaven) 7621 Rivermont Trail, House Springs, Missouri 63051

We will begin our fellowship and brother-time around 9:00 and begin our circle shortly after 10:00.  The day will conclude at 3:00.  Lunch will be shared.  Please bring a side dish, chips, or dessert to share or a donation to cover the main course.  RSVPing to Paul for the lunch count especially is appreciated (email paul.ccma@sbcglobal.net).

We will check in and enjoy wilderness time then Paul Koch will also share stories from his recent Civil Rights Pilgrimage that traveled to: 

• Springfield (to learn about this Missouri city's racial past and present)

• Tulsa (in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Massacre)

• Cherokee Nation (for stories of survival and resilience), and 

• Little Rock (to see and learn about the Central High School Little Rock 9)

Ryan Santens will also lead us in Body Trauma Healing Practices as inspired by Resmaa Menakem and his book My Grandmother's Hands.
