This year will be the 49th Annual Memorial Boulevard Christian Church Hike Against Hunger.  Over the last 48 years they have been able to raise $539,000!

The goal this year is to raise $15K towards a $100K project in Bamyan, Afghanistan to assist with education needs, mostly of young girls and to establish 2 education centers for English & Mathematics and 2 community-based schools, to hire and train 15 teachers and establish 5 safe playgrounds.  This project would benefit over 13,000 children and adults, mostly girls and women.  The playgrounds alone will benefit 7,250 children.
