The Mid-America Preaching Workshop invites pastors from around the region to collaborate together on the practice of preaching, offering the opportunity to learn from one another and develop key insights to sharpen and strengthen their preaching ministry. With presentations and breakout sessions covering a wide range of practices and possibilities, there’s something for everyone, whether you are brand new to the pulpit or have been preaching for as long as you can remember.
Thanks to the generosity of our underwriters (including the Mid-America region and the Lilly Endowment’s support of the Proclamation Project), registration is only $10 and includes lunch. This session also has an online only option for $5. Participants taking advantage of this format will receive continuing education credits and will be sent the recording of Rev. Lee Hull Moses’ presentation.
Other similar sessions are available on Wednesday, September 27 at Brentwood Christian Church in Springfield and on Friday, September 29 at First Christian Church in Cameron. The Brentwood session will include a virtual presentation by Rev. Lee Hull Moses, which will be recorded and posted on our website for viewing after the event.
