For this training event we are using The Mandt System (Global Experts in preventing workplace and relational violence).  Our teacher/leader will be Mr. Rick Goolsby from Judevine, Inc. here in St. Louis. The Mandt System is based in building healthy relationship skills, and learning how to choose the interactions and interventions that are appropriate to the situation, and how to manage one's own emotions when dealing with a person who is experiencing strong emotions.  This training applies to and will offer vital skills in all settings.  Therefore you will find it helpful not only in our church contexts, but in other workplace, educational, and personal contexts.  The training is grounded in the value of treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Please us know by Monday, April 18 how many plan to come from your congregation, so that we may plan for lunch and materials for everyone.
