We are pleased to announce that Dr. M. Eugene  Boring is returning for the second time to lead the Izola Jones Annual Lectureship. The event is open to all, free of charge and is a good source of continuing education for ministers.

The theme to be considered this year is "What Is A Gospel" with special emphasis on the Gospel of Luke. Dr. Boring teaches that the gospel genre is a combination of historical, biographical and theological material uniquely adapted to the need of the early church and to the benefit of following generations. Knowledge of the formation of gospel is a helpful tool to aid in an understanding of the Christian faith.
